November 26, 2025 — Richmond, Texas — The Arc of Fort Bend County welcomed over 1,000 guests and 30 generous sponsors to the 47^th Annual Best in the West at the historic George Ranch. Early estimates indicate that the event raised over $400,000 and counting, to fund programs that promote inclusion, advocacy, and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Prosperity Bank Sugar Land returned as Presenting Sponsor for the 26th year in a row and this year’s event was packed with entertainment and community spirit. Guests enjoyed Fort Bend County’s largest Silent Auction, featuring more than 500 items, along with a raffle for a brand-new four-passenger VCart cruiser, won by a friend of The Arc, Steve Gant.

The popular “Wine Pull” returned, offering bottles valued up to $100, and attendees savored a delicious BBQ dinner. Cooper Wade and Unclaimed Freight kept the crowd dancing, while Royal G Photo Booth captured another year of lasting memories. For the first time, Tiff’s Treats—Stafford sweetened the night with warm cookies to top off dinner.

I’m incredibly proud of everyone who worked behind the scenes to make it the second most successful Best in the West we’ve had since it first
