The Arc is important to families of Fort Bend County because, not only do we provide direct services, but we also provide information to parents about organizations that will help support their children right here in Fort Bend County.  Many parents do not know where to go for help.  Because The Arc is a membership organization, we provide the networking opportunity for parents so that they can help support one another with the daily challenges of raising a child with a disability.  The Arc has many diverse services which improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and provides a base of support for their families.
